I will be adding more Amigurumi type patterns for sale on my site. As soon as I finish them.
Although this pattern is not a true Amigurumi it's still crocheted and stuffed and most of all too cute.

Size approx 4 inches high including ears
Materials needed
Worsted Weight Yarn
A few ounces of Gray, white and black, Or White and pink, or colors of your choice.
Crochet hook G
Needle
Batting
Gauge 4 sts = 1”
Work in spiral. Do not join. Mark beg of each row for head and body.
With Gray or white or your choice of color.
Head: Chain 2.
Rnd 1: 4 sc in 2nd chain from hook.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around: 8.
Rnd 3: *Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next, inc made, rep from * around: 12 sc.
Rnd 4: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 5 *Sc in next 2 sc, sc 2 in next sc rep from * around: 18 sc.
Rnd 6: sc in each sc around.
Rnd 7: Dec in next 2, sc in next repeat from * around: 12 sc.
Here you should stop to embroider eyes and nose and stuff the portion completed. Pull the loop long so you don’t pull out the stitches.
The eyes and nose are done with 3 or 4 straight stitches IN THE SAME AREA. Do eyes 3 sc apart. Do the nose right at the tip over beg hole.
Or you can use beads or buttons. Be sure they are secure.
Rnd 8: sc in each sc around.
Rnd 9: *Dec in next 2 sc, sc in next sc, repeat from * around: 8 sc. Stuff head a bit more. Push it in with the end of a pen of knitting needle.
Rnd 10 *Dec in next 2 sc, sc in next sc, repeat from * 4 sc: Fasten off leave tail if hole needs to be sewn closed. Head complete.
Body: Don’t forget to mark beg of each Rnd.
With Gray or white or your choice of color.
Chain 2,
Rnd 1: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each around: 12 sc.
Rnd 3: *Sc in next sc, 2 in next sc rep from * 18 sc
Rnd 4: In BLO sc in ea around.
Rnd 5: *sc in next, 2 sc in next, rep from * 24 sc
Rnd 6: Sc in ea around
Rnd 7: repeat Rnd 6
Rnd 8: Repeat Rnd 6.
Rnd 9: *Dec over next 2sc, sc in next, repeat from * 18 sc.
Rnd 10: *Dec over next 2, sc in next, repeat from * 12 sc. Fasten off leave 12 inch tail. Stuff.
Feet: Make 2
With Gray or pink or your choice of color.
Chain 3, ch 1 turn.
Rnd 1: Sc in 2nd sc from hook and next, ch 1 turn.
Rnd 2: Repeat Rnd 1. 3 sc.
Rnd 3: Chain 4, sl st in 4th ch from hook, sl st in next sc, chain 4, sl st in 4th chain from hook, sl st in next sc, ch 4 sl st in 4th chain from hook, sl st in next sc,
3 TOES MADE! Sl st back to beg of foot, Fasten off. Leave 10” tail for sewing.
Arms: Make 2
With Gray or white or your choice of color.
Chain 3, ch 1 turn
Repeat Rnd 1 for feet 3 times
Repeat Rnd 3 for feet. 3 FINGERS MADE! Sl st back to beg or arms and fasten off. Leave tail for sewing.
Ears: Make 2
With Gray or white or your choice of color.
Chain 2.
Rnd 1: 4 sc in 2nd chain from hook.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each around 8 sc.
Rnd 3: *Sc in next, 2sc in next, repeat from *
Slip stitch in next Fasten off. Leave tail for sewing.
Another way to make ears.
Start with contrasting color for ch and Rnds 1 and 2, change color to body color for Rnd 3.
The contrasting color will show on back of ear too, but it looks cute.
Tail:
With gray or pink or your choice of color.
Chain 20 or desired length, sl st back to beg. Fasten off.
Belly:
With white or pink or your choice of color.
Ch 2
Rnd 1: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around: 12 sc
Rnd 3: * sc in next, 2 sc in next, repeat from * 18 sc.
Sl st in next Fasten off. Leave at least a 12” tail for sewing to body.
Placement of Rat Body parts:
Use pins in necessary.
Be sure to secure tails and weave in ends after sewing each body part on.
Sew each ear in place lining inside edge of ear up with the eyes.
Sew belly centered on body.
Sew arms to each side of body placing them flat on the 2nd Rnd down from top of body.
Sew feet to bottom of body placing them on the back stitches and slightly turned out.
Sew tail to back of body pointing upwards.
Place Head on body at opening, Tilt the head with his nose pointing slightly upwards. Keeping head straight on body, sew in place.
